Program the Brain to Let go

In the last Century, finding the correct information was one of the critical skills. The right information at the right time helped people to be successful and happy in their lives. The people who did not get the right information at the right time struggled for success and happiness.

In the 21st Century, due to media and technological advancement, information is not only available but even being bombarded by us. To be happy and prosperous, you do not have to find the correct information anymore. Now you have to learn to filter the information which aligns with your life values.

How does too much information create trouble?

Our brain works like a digital logbook where it keeps recording everything we see, hears and experience every day. As "Less information" creates a problem in decision-making, "Too much information" also creates a problem in decision-making. Highly likely we choose an easy or wrong path and be unhappy down that path in our life.
 

How to program the brain to Let go?

The first step is to avoid exposure to information that is not aligned with your life values. However, sometimes we can not stop the intrusion of information, reflecting false narratives or fake interest in our life values. Every day we have to make a list of the things we learned during the day and scratch off the ones which are not aligned with our values. This scratch-off activity also gets recorded on the log book and becomes inactive in your decision-making.

Conclusion:

Let go of any information which does not feed into your life values and goals or improve your life values. It will keep your brain healthy, happy and ready for good decision-making.
